I. About the Journal

Legal Theory and Order (《法理与秩序》, ISSN 3136-4918) is an international academic journal with the core editorial philosophy of advancing jurisprudence research and constructing paradigms of legal order. Published by HONG KONG SOURCEFOUNT PRESS LIMITED, the journal was officially established in 2026 and is published bi-monthly. Grounded in the forefront of the rule of law in the digital age, the journal takes jurisprudence as its anchor point, focusing not only on the static text of legal norms but also on analyzing the dynamic mechanisms of legal practice and the generative logic of social order. It is committed to building a legal academic exchange platform that combines theoretical depth, empirical value, and international perspective, providing scholarly support that is profound, evidence-based, and forward-looking for the development of the rule of law.

III. Submission Guidelines

1.Manuscripts must be original and unpublished. They must not have been previously published in any publicly distributed print or online publication, either domestically or internationally. Plagiarism, duplicate submission, data fabrication, and other forms of academic misconduct are strictly prohibited. In the event that academic misconduct is identified, the editorial office will revoke the acceptance of the manuscript; published articles will be retracted, the authors institution will be notified, and no submissions from the author will be accepted for a period of three years.

2.Manuscripts are expected to feature clear arguments, sufficient evidence, rigorous logic, and fluent writing. Submissions must hold academic or practical value and adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

3.Manuscripts should be 5,0008,000 words in length (including figures, tables, references, and English-language content).

4.Manuscripts must include the following complete elements: title, author name(s), author affiliation(s) with city, province/state, and postal code, abstract, and keywords in both Chinese and English; as well as a Chinese-language author biography, introduction, main body, conclusion, and references.

 

IV. Submission Channels

Submission Method 1: Online Submission System. Authors may log on to the official submission system of Legal Theory and Order (https://journal.sourcefount.com/index.php/lto/en/about/submissions), register an account, and upload the electronic version of the manuscript following the system prompts. The email subject line should indicate “Submission+Paper Title, accompanied by attachments containing author information, funding project details, and other relevant materials.

Submission Method 2: Email Submission. Authors may submit their manuscripts via email to faliyuzhixu@163.com. The email subject line should be formatted as Author(s) Name+Paper Title. Manuscripts should be submitted in Word document format, with editable versions of figures and tables placed in a separate folder and compressed into a zip file, then sent as email attachments along with the main manuscript document. File names should be consistent with the email subject.

 

V. Acceptance and Copyright

1.If the authors do not receive a notification of acceptance, revision, or rejection from the editorial office within two months from the date of submission, they may dispose of the manuscript at their own discretion.

2.The journal holds the legitimate rights to the information network dissemination, reproduction and distribution, compilation, and translation of published manuscripts. Submission of a manuscript constitutes the authors acceptance of the journals copyright terms.

3.The journal firmly opposes academic misconduct. Manuscripts found to involve academic misconduct upon verification will be rejected, and the authors will be placed on the journals blacklist.
