Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Submission Preparation Checklist

4. Submission Operation & Follow-up Procedures

System submission: Upload all files, including the Word document of the manuscript, via the journal’s official online submission system (or via the e-mail address listed on the copyright page, with subject line “Submission + Column + Title” if system issues occur).

Review timeline: The entire process (initial screening, peer review, final decision) normally takes 1–3 months; please monitor the system and your e-mail for editorial notifications.

Revisions: If revisions are requested, respond point-by-point and resubmit within the given deadline; late returns may jeopardise acceptance.

Post-acceptance: Sign the formal copyright agreement and return the proofread galley within 48 hours of receipt.

Publication: Accepted papers will be published online first within 2 weeks; the printed version will follow in due volume/issue.

5. Academic Integrity & Prohibition of Multiple Submission

Originality: The work is original and has not been previously published in full in any formal journal (preprint servers such as arXiv are exempt); it contains no plagiarism, fabrication, or falsification.

Single submission: This manuscript is not under consideration by any other journal. If such multiple submission is detected during review, the editorial office reserves the right to reject or retract the paper, notify the authors’ institutions, and bar submissions from the same authors for three years.

Author consensus: All authors have read and approved the final version, and their institutions have agreed to publication; the authorship order and affiliations are accurate.

Copyright restriction: Upon acceptance, authors will sign a copyright transfer agreement. Without the publisher’s written permission, the same or substantially similar content may not be republished elsewhere or compiled in any form.

Final note: This checklist is a practical aid for authors to verify all requirements before submission, ensuring compliance, completeness and quality. For any omissions, please refer to the latest announcements on the journal’s official website.
